Jelenések könyve • Bozsik Yvette Társulat

The original Greek title of John's visions is 'Apocalypse'; its central motif is the breaking of the seven seals-that which was hidden is now revealed. Its central idea is that behind the events of history lies a struggle between the forces of evil and God; it tells of the heavenly battle of the end times and its reflection here on Earth. Similarly to Greek tragedies, it presents grave, dramatic events and prophecies. Here, the visionary reveals his name, and the tone is both prophetic and personal.  more

Current events

These enchanting, dramatic, and sacred images are brought to life through the unique music of Swiss composer Philippe Heritier, the costumes by Krisztina Berzsenyi, and the visual world created by the choreographer and Tamás Vati, in a performance by the Yvette Bozsik Company and its guest performers. The performance also goes on to evoke the world of our time, the 21st century, a world full of fear and suffering. This will mark the next chapter in the company's series of dance interpretations inspired by profound metaphysical works, such as Cycle, which drew on the Bhagavad Gita, or, before that Les Comédiens du Seigneur (The Lord's Comedians), which explored the inner journey of St Francis, as well as Joan of Arc at the Stake and even Orpheus and Eurydice.
