
The Yellow Rose
The Yellow Rose is Mór Jókai\'s 1892 novel about the Hungarian Puszta, in which he details the natural world and the customs of the Hortobágy region with the fastidiousness of an ethnologist. In the dance performance, choreographer and director Árpád Könczei worked with the Maros Ensemble to present the dramatic story of this novel inspired by the peasant world.
