Falusi Mariann sokoldalú énekesnőként a pop mellett a jazz műfajában is aktív: rendszeresen dolgozott együtt Presser Gáborral. Szólóestjein gyakran jazz-átiratokat és saját feldolgozásokat ad elő.

Twenty-five years ago, four highly skilled French musicians decided to take the freedom of jazz and the pulsating sound of funk, and shape them into an entirely new concept by exploiting the possibilities offered by electronica. The experiment proved successful, and Electro Deluxe was born in Paris. Later, courtesy of American singer James Copley, the band discovered new vistas to explore.

The Modern Art Orchestra’s three-part concert series pays tribute to this year’s centenary of a jazz icon through the legendary collaboration of Miles Davis and Gil Evans.

It has been a long time since we thought of Cécile McLorin Salvant as merely the promising winner of the 2010 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. Her expressive voice capable of conveying profound emotions and refined sentiments, her virtuoso improvisation, and her brave, experimental combinations of styles have now come to represent a point of reference to a new generation.

Tavaly ünnepelte 80. születésnapját Hobo – a közönség szeretetével és teltházas koncertekkel. 2026-ben pedig új fejezet kezdődik: 80+1 címmel országos turnéra indul!

A két együttes közös koncertje igazi hangzásünnep, ahol big band klasszikusok, jazz- és swing feldolgozások a Rézlények látványos energiájával egyesül.

A Miskolc Dixieland Band - Dixie klub

Based on their acclaimed ECM Records album Transylvanian Dance (ECM, 2024) Romanian pianist Lucian Ban and American violinist Mat Maneri are rethinking through improvisation the 20th century Hungarian composer Béla Bartók’s field recordings of folk songs from Transylvania. In their performance they use video projections that show rare original footages, excerpts from Bartók’s original wax cylinder audio recordings, handwritten manuscripts and photographs taken by Bartók during his field trips.

A 2025-ben 40 éves fennállását ünneplő Hot Jazz Band zenekar leginkább a korai jazz és a két világháború közötti magyar könnyűzenei termés Karády, Kabos, Jávor, Latabár filmek zenéinek korhű megszólaltatóiként ismer és szeret a hazai hallgatóság.

Tíz év közös zenélés, számos nemzetközi koncertmeghívás, számtalan díj és most egy új korszak nyitánya a Pesti Vigadóban.
Az Antal Gábor Trio lemezbemutató koncerttel érkezik, ahol élőben szólal meg hamarosan megjelenő nagylemezük, a Shards of Peace.

A Shards of Peace darabjai elmélyültek, kérdeznek, reagálnak a jelenre, miközben megmarad az a lendület és közvetlenség, ami az Antal Gábor Trio koncertjeit itthon és külföldön is emlékezetessé tette: Párizs, Varsó, Bécs, Riga, Zágráb vagy Stuttgart közönsége után most a Vigadó ad teret ennek az új zenei fejezetnek.
Ez az este nem visszatekintés, hanem fókuszált előrelépés: egy érett zenekar pillanatfelvétele, ott, ahol a részletek igazán hallhatóvá válnak.

2025 szeptemberében a Dixie Klub megkezdte 59. évadát a Pinceszínházban.

This Blue Note album was compiled from the 1947–49 recordings of Theodore "Fats" Navarro following his death at the age of 26 due to illness and addiction. He played alongside the giants of the bebop generation, including Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, and Tadd Dameron.

Együttesünk 6 éve alakult, elsősorban olyan repertoárral dolgozunk, mely közérthető, kedvelt jazz melódiákból áll, de kikacsintunk más műfajok, a funky és jazzrock világa felé is.

Michael Mayo’s family legacy and natural talent paved the way for him to blossom as an artist and eventually achieve global fame. As the third vocalist to graduate from the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance, he has worked alongside the institute’s founder, Herbie Hancock, as well as with Kneebody, Christian Sands and Gretchen Parlato.

BÁGYI BALÁZS NEW QUARTET KONCERT

A 29-year-old female bass player from India. These few words are enough for most people to immediately think of Mohini Dey. Despite her young age, pages could be filled listing all the artists and festivals she has performed with and at since the age of nine. It was her father, also a bass player, who started her on her professional path, a journey which has so far brought her into contact with Steve Vai, Zakir Hussain, Quincy Jones, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Gergő Borlai.

A 45. Budapesti Tavaszi Fesztivál keretén belül megrendezésre kerül a Mardi Gras Jazz Band koncertje a Táncsics Teraszon.

Many people were surprised when, after a successful two-year streak during which they won the A38 talent competition known as Talentométer and conquered stages across Europe, including Müpa Budapest, makrohang split up. They then caused another, more pleasant surprise with the news in 2023 that they would be reviving what they themselves call their “jazz for metalheads” sound.
