As a pioneer of Hungarian new-wave hip-hop, Kolos Halász, aka Co Lee, became familiar to an increasingly wider audience throughout 2022 and 2023. In 2024, Halász not only proved himself on the main stages of festivals, he also organised one of his very own: the Cirque de Margaret, which found a common path between circus and music, and was packed with breathtaking acrobatic displays.

It is often said that artistic trends repeat themselves in cycles of twenty years or so. If we accept the truth of this view, then one would be hard pressed to find a better example than Oi Va Voi, who did much to shape the pop music sound of the turn of the millennium.

Caminos is the new project of guitarist Juan Gómez ‘Chicuelo’. It comprises tangos, alegrías, bulerías and granaínas, and with an unusual lineup, it opens new sound pathways in flamenco.

Aram Hacsaturján örmény komponista népszerű alkotása a Hegedűverseny, amelynek fuvolaszólós átirata is létezik. A szerző előszeretettel ötvözte hazájának népzenei elemeit az európai muzsika hagyományos nyelvezetével, így a Hegedűverseny sajátos „ízét-zamatát” is épp a folklorisztikus gyökerű pillanatok adják meg, keleties dallamfordulataikkal, szenvedélyes ritmikájukkal.
