Internationally renowned master of the baroque recorder and the flute, Anneke Boeke has already worked with such eminent conductors as Gustav Leonhardt, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, John Eliot Gardiner, Philip Picket and Gordan Nicolic. The ensembles featured on her many recordings include the Combattimento Consort Amsterdam, the Nederlandse Bachvereniging, and the Cappella Amsterdam chamber choir.

She is a regular guest of prestigious festivals, such as the Utrecht Old Music Festival, the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival and the Days of Old Music in Sopron. She regularly holds courses in the latter city, as well as in Birmingham.

The Ensemble Cantilene is a unique baroque orchestra. They use period instruments and their sound is historic, yet their musical expression is new and engaging. They maintain a rich and colourful repertoire, playing the works of Frescobaldi, Legrenzi, Marini, Buxtehude, Merula, Monteverdi, Schütz, Rosenmüller, Handel, Bach and others.
