A hangversenykalauzok kínálatában is ritkaságszámba megy amikor egy estén négy versenymű is színre kerül, nem is beszélve arról, ha a négyesfogatban öt szólista kápráztatja el a közönséget. Ezen alkalommal a brácsa, a zongora, a hegedű, a gordonka és a cimbalom egy-egy virtuóza lép színpadra hangszerével, hogy a sokat próbált, nagyszerű zenekar segítségével megszólaltassa a szerzőik által megálmodott kortárs műveket, melyek közül a Cimbalomverseny ősbemutató is egyben.

Jörg Widmann is a musical polymath par excellence. He is not only one of the greatest living masters of his instrument, the clarinet, but also an excellent composer, orchestrator and conductor. His compositions are palatable, entertaining, thought-provoking, and inventive. His programs are harmonious and carefully selected.

As in previous years, the 2025/2026 Ferencsik season ticket is aimed primarily at lovers of the Viennese classics.

For almost a quarter of a century, the Festival Orchestra’s program series for children has brought a high-quality classical musical experience to the youngest. The orchestra’s rehearsal room not only serves experimenting with the tiniest details of the symphonic pieces to be performed or playing chamber music, but also as the venue for educating the next generation of classical music lovers.

Two trumpets at the same time? Now that’s a party! Gábor Boldoczki and Sergei Nakariakov arrive in mid-December bearing an ideally timed sonic gift in advance of the lights of the upcoming Christmas holiday.
